Grey Gardens

Grey Gardens was a documentary made in 1975. The film depicts the unusual lives of mother and daughter  " Big Edie" and "little Edie". The two women lived in squalor in almost total isolation. Grey Gardens was a  decrepit mansion in the Hampton's ,New York. 

HBO have just made a film about the eccentric pair starring Jessica Lang and Drew Barrymore. 

I am looking forward to seeing the HBO film. The documentary is fascinating you must see it before you see the film.

Jewellry designer mixes death with diomonds

These are a few of my favourite pieces by  Taxidermist and Jewelery designer Julia Deville. I think her pieces have something eerily beautiful about them. There is something a little unnerving about her work but  i kinda like that it freaks people out but then you see that there something quite pretty about it like the bird skull brooch with a diamond eye.

I'm not really a fan of Henry Holland or am i a Fan of his collections....But this sheer body con dress is so cute. i love the patch work polka dot covering the lady bits, very sexy ! The rest of his summer09 collection is lovely too he uses lots of flowery and polka dot prints. Has a summery youthful edge to it with a bit of naughtiness thrown in the mix. 

Georgia May Jagger

Georgia May Jagger 16 year old daughter of Rocker Mick Jagger and Texan born model Jerry Hall. She is absolutely stunning, look at those lips! she's just signed a modeling contract with London's Independent agency. Think we will be seeing a lot more of her this year her styles quite good too. 

I know it's way too early to be thinking about fall/winter wardrobes especially when we haven't even got into summer yet but i found these pics for Fall 09 and they have already got me thinking. I love the pale skin -  barely there make-up against the dark greens and blacks. The hood is also a cool idea.

There is something about white tights with black high heels that i love. Its a softer way of wearing tights in spring/summer.
